Why We Should Forgive

We should forgive because it is not others who are hurting

The largest and most painful wound is deep within us.

We should forgive because it is not just for those who hurt us

Bur primarily for the healing of our own broken heart.

We should forgive not because they are right and we are wrong

It’s humility in its highest form.

We should forgive because we need to let go of the excruciating memories

Believe that abundance is coming our way.

We should forgive because the world needs peace

Isn’t that everyone’s ultimate wish?

We should forgive because that’s what God says

Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

We should forgive because when we forgive God jumps up and down

So delighted and cheerful on our precious gift.
