100% Delectable Halo-Halo Version 2.0

Medyo mainit pa rin kahit malapit na ang Christmas, Halo-halo you like?

100% Delectable Halo-Halo!

A bunch of chitchat, a pack of laughter, and a load of dynamic stares on few potential boyfriend (like Ave, Dickies, Doc-nurse, EJ, Justin, Kaka, and Roldan- mga true-blooded PAPALICIOUS) inside TUP campus, that’s what the TROPATITS are known for.

Tropatits’ cast is like chalk and cheese. There is Cheryl “The SixthBiomic Soldier;” Rona “The Undisputed Raconteur;” Beverly “The Sturdy Lass that Rarely Sleep;” Katherine “The Megaphone;” Ronalyn “The Tomboy turned Pretty Woman;” Bernadeth “The Walking Skeleton;” Raymond “The Barbeque Stick to Potential TV Host;” Rochelle “The Inventive Linguist;” Elenor “The Dimple and The Noisy;” and Michelle “The Kapuso Unregistered Lawyer.” In short, Tropatits is a mixture of gentle, jovial, naughty, stunning, and well-endowed creatures.

LET'S MEET TROPATITS, NOON AT NGAYON (DRUM ROLL)

Cheryl “The Sixth Biomic Soldier”
Noon.. Did you know that Cheryl is the sixth powerful being completing the Bioman? In fact, she owns the title “Lavender Six.” Look at the bag; the shirt; the umbrella and so on - always in Lavender. Armed with overbearing skills, she was able to bring out the hidden riches of BAM. Oh! That is SUPERPOWER. Her secret weapon? ALAXAN FR. So guys, take Alaxan FR everyday and discover your own special ability.

Ngayon… I have not seen her since we graduated in college (I think). Thank God for social media, I have seen her husband and son. And I believe she is a doting wife and a mother. I heard, long time ago, she works in a local bank in Batangas. Surprised?!!! A career related to money maybe her call. Wishin’ to see a new shoutout in FB, or better yet, hoping to see her soon with lots of money that can bring us to a place where we can harbat.

Rona “The Undisputed Raconteur ”
Noon... If Darna swallows “bato,” Rona takes "Everlasting Battery." She is a person who has not learned the gist of stillness; a person who doesn’t know how to whisper a single word; a person who usually shares her outrageous and so-so stories in “todo na ‘to!” manner. So watch out! Get ready to have your saliva dried out once you sit and have a chat with her. It seems that you are one of the listeners in a show entitled “Chikagalore with Rona.”

Ngayon… Still loveless but not hopeless (I hope). Maybe she has to talk some more to meet that One True Love. Or maybe it’s about time to stop and listen because Mr. OTL is already in front of her but has no chance to speak his heart out. Kidding aside, I’m glad she has not changed through the years. Her being a “chatterbox” is what makes us fall in love with her. That’s her Masteral Degree. How to Pause (sometimes) might be a good Doctorate. LOL!

Beverly “The Sturdy Lass that Rarely Sleep”
Noon... Bevs is a sturdy lass when it comes to “puyatan”. If for most people “Sleeping is the best medicine (to a tired specie),” her notion is different. Well surprisingly, she is someone who has not learned how to sleep. Maybe that’s the effect of drinking too much coffee or perhaps she dreamed of becoming a call center agent. Therefore, strong immunity plus some cups of coffee is equal to high paying job.

Ngayon… Just like Cheryl, I have not seen this girl in years. But the social media gives us a clue where she is – in a BPO company. Her ultimate skill is now producing financial wealth. But despite her busy schedule and less sleep, she looks perfectly happy. That’s the way to becoming rich. I bet she’s on the right track. Please, don’t forget to share your blessings!!! PM is free.

Kathy “The Megaphone”
Noon... Kathy’s name is synonymous to the word – Megaphone. Basically, her voice is the sum of five people battling for the Final Seat to a StarStruck gig. It seems that her tone is higher than the maximum volume of a voice amplification device. When she starts talking you can instantly feel the energy flowing in her blood streams and at once you would like to be quiet and just listen. Surely, you will be entertained more than you will become deaf.

Ngayon… The last time we met, I saw the same girl I know in college except for the girly girly skirt. Still full of stories to tell but more like a matured woman in her early twentys (Naks). Because she has learned how to control the volume. A voice that is more feminine. LOL! Seriously, I found out that she is more adventurous now. I actually envy her travel adventures while making money during weekdays and soon having money work for her. That’s the way girl!

Ronalyn “The Tomboy Turned Pretty Woman”
Noon... Have you seen a boyish gal turned pretty woman? Well, the drastic changes in this girl’s poise and bearing are the living evidence to this. Before, she projects a powerful character that every guy around her would hesitate to ask her name and celfone number. Surprisingly, she has transformed from being a typical lady contented with a simple infatuation into a young woman with consistent textmates - exclusive for Smart subscribers only.

Ngayon… If having a family is not a solid evidence of her womanhood, ewan ko na! LOL! From being a typical lady with consistent textmates she is now a picture of a happy wife and mother. I am glad she has not moved far away, I can go to her house by just a jeepney ride and a kilometre walk. We can still talk about anything under the sun, including our favourite field reporter Joseph Morong. :D

Bernadeth “The Hopeful Framework”
Noon... When the Supreme Deity had showered fats and carbohydrates in the Philippines, she caught 0.01 percent only. Her body is just three times bigger than a Coca-cola can. For this reason, she was usually having a hard time picking clothes that could fit her slender body. But hey! The story doesn’t end there. Lately, her “bilbil” is noticeably building up around her waist. At last, Welcome to the club!

Ngayon… Unlike Ms. Che (now Mrs. Che) and Bevs, her twin’s baptismal rite was our last meeting. And unlike Rona, Kathy and Ronalyn, she has changed. She gained not only 0.01 carbohydrates but 0.01 exponentially raised to the nth power. However, her figure is way too far to qualify in FHHM of Eat Bulaga. Just, Welcome to our Club! where bilbil and slim body collide. Chos! Seriously, she radiates a contented woman - a very happy married, career woman.

Raymond “The Barbeque Stick to Potential TV Host”
Noon... Back in college days, Raymond looked like a barbeque stick wrapped in a white and black coverings. His physical appearance would remind you of Tita Swarding. But today, this unfound son of a famous showbiz radio reporter has digested more nutritious food. With chubbier cheeks, burlier body and more vibrant countenance, he is more suitable to take the place of Boy Abunda than be the next AM radio asset.

Ngayon… Like Berna, he has changed. From being a barbeque stick to a bamboo, is a major transformation. He is a stronger guy who falls down but rises quickly. Naks! Now that Boy Abunda is in indefinite leave, Gerolaga and Aquino Tonight isn’t bad, right? We, your Tropatits, promise to stay up late just to catch you chatting with the queen of all talk shows. Or maybe it’s more fun with "Gerolaga & Castillo Tonight?"

Rochelle “The Inventive Linguist”
Noon... “Expect the worst,” “You’re cha-cha fool,” “Superstisue (singular of superstitious),” “Buyuyog.” That is Rochelle – known for creating odd and mind-boggling language and lingo. Actually, she has a slight difficulty in pronouncing words. In short – “bulol." Many can dance and others can sing. Well, Chel can apparently turn simple words into everyone’s favorite expressions.

Ngayon… I have not seen this girl in years. So, I have not heard a single word turn into everyone’s favourite expression in years. But one thing is sure, she has spread her wings and in her way to the peak of her career. Thank God for social media we have few clues about her whereabouts. If ever I’d see her again, I don’t expect to hear an old Rochelle but comic punch lines are highly anticipated.

Elenor “The Dimple and The Noisy”
Noon... Elen is recognized for having cute dimples that shine when she smiles. But the bad news is, her dimples are sometimes more noticeable than her pretty face. She also owns the title “The Noisy.” A couple of times, she was caught relentlessly chatting with her seatmates. A gal known for her dimples is also one of the most loquacious species in class?! Is it something to be proud of or a regretful achievement?

Ngayon… With two healthy and smart kids and a loving husband, her dimples shine brighter. There’s a saying “Kung ano ang puno sya ang bunga.” But her “The Noisy” title has no match with her eldest. The adage is true. Just like the mother, the child is damn smart and gifted with dimple too. If it’s hard to debate with a sharp-witted mother, it’s harder with the child. You won’t win. LOL!

Michelle “The Kapuso Unregistered Lawyer”
Noon... Mitch is a certified GMA aficionado. There is no need to have a remote control because her TV monitor is already committed to this station. If there will be a debate on which TV station is the real number one (GMA or ABS), she is absolutely a great contender. She is not afraid to argue against those nasty people telling bad things about this TV network. Indeed, an unregistered lawyer. And a certified Kapuso!

Ngayon… Again, thank God for the gift of social media we can see old faces and know our friends whereabouts. Unfortunately, even with presence of FB you can hardly see, feel, smell and hear her. As far as I know, GMA Kapuso Network has not released a memorandum stating a new corporate lawyer. Definitely, however, she remains the ultimate defender of her growing family. And I know she’s doing a great job!

Every member of this group is absolutely different from the other. We all have totally unequal personalities; our own likes and dislikes; happy and sad moments. For this reason, a lot of trials, misunderstandings and petty quarrels have attested our friendship. But acceptance, laughter, camaraderie and sincerity are the vital ingredients to the Tropatits recipe. When we are together we can be our ugly selves without having to worry about the image we create. We can let our hair down, kick off our shoes and be our true selves without camouflage or pretense. Our bond is truly one of a kind. We are the craziest and the naughtiest. But still, we are proud to say “TROPA KO 'TO!!!”

And indeed, 100% Delectable Halo-Halo. Sarap!!!

(Note: All descriptions are created with exaggeration giving stress to hilarious features more than the positive ones. The “NOON” was written long long time ago. Purely for your eyes only. Bawal ang pikon. Katuwaan lang po. Peace!!!

Not Really Made Different

“Kakaiba ka talaga” was a common comment by my college friends. I wasn't so sure if it was meant as a compliment or whatever. All I know is that I have always been the type of person who acts accordingly. I am who I am. I do what I want to do. I say what is running in my head. But admittedly, there are things that I enjoy doing that they are not fond of. Perhaps, I also have traits that they don’t normally encounter. Kaya siguro I was the most “kakaiba” among the group. I love blogging and they don't. Many times I tried to convince some of them but  failed. But it doesn't matter to me now. Because there are a lot of bloggers out there who understand the feeling when one is able to weave emotions into words, who share the same passion as I do. May kakosa ako dito invisible nga lang. :)

I’m not really unique (in a special way). We’re not just the same at all times despite being part of one group.

Gift Ideas for 18 Symbolic Gifts

Jenny:
Now that you’re 18, this bird symbolizes you as a lady whose wings have been perfected by time now ready to fly and explore the heights as well as the lows that you will encounter in your travel through life’s challenges.

Rej:
There’s a saying “No Man is an Island” so this bird symbolizes people who will accompany you as you trudge an unfamiliar sky. People who will lift you up when you feel like your wings are being hindered by the whirling winds or when your life begins to center on the grounds of existence alone.

Shalah:
“There’s no place like home.” You may reach the highest part of the sky, but there will come a time that you need to stop and look back at a deluge of memories that you could not fly away from. So this cage symbolizes your home – place where everything had begun. For the greatest mistake one can do is to forget his past.

Kinarir?! Hehe!!!

P.S. Hindi matatawaran ang contribution ni Danieson. Salamat sa'yo friend!

My friends and I composed the preceding speech for one of our classmates in high school who was celebrating her 18th birthday. Actually, none of us were really close to her. Kaswal lang. But that’s the first debut celebration that we were invited to kaya kinarir namin ng bonggang bongga bilang pasasalamat sa pag-alala sa amin. At ginantihan nya naman kami ng tears of joy. : )

True Friendship

When we are in a pickle we either face the problem on our own or talk to a friend to help us out. Often times, we do the latter no matter how high our pride is. And it’s totally normal simply because we are human. As the famous aphorism goes “No man is an island.” Other times, we are in the extreme opposite of the situation. In this case, what do you do? Do you let the energy flow and affect others? Or savor it and make it your own?

Sharing good things to a friend is not about gratitude, it’s about true friendship.

Cold

Yesterday, I saw an old friend. She was a former officemate. In a very short span of time that we worked together (one week), we became very very close. I think our numerous similarities and some quite challenging circumstances paved the way to a beautiful friendship. She’s my one of my soulmates, a very dear friend. But after a year the feeling is different. Well, I was happy to see her but when I got home I couldn’t avoid myself from asking “Where did our friendship go?”

I believe this scenario also happens to all of us. When we were kids, most of us have so called “Best friend.” When we were in school, we have lots of acquaintances, barkada and close friends. And you thought it was a kind of connection anchored in a strong foundation. But as time goes by, the friendship drifts apart. Unexpected. Unplanned.

Decades ago, when a relationship collapses we can blame it on distance, hectic schedule and poor communication line. But today, with the presence of advanced technology, any type of relationship that falls apart is more likely rooted to our own choice. And that explains the rationale of our story. It’s really a sad thing. Nevertheless, I know we both still value the moments that we were trying to appease each other in the midst of great difficulty; the times that we were both financially broke and the only lunch meal we can afford in Chowking is Chao Fan.

Actually I don’t believe our friendship is over. Although a lot of things have changed, the world is still small. We are still connected in two giant social networks. All things are possible, right?

Rekindling Ties

I didn’t like Facebook. A lot of my friends were inviting me to join and experience the fad. But knowing how I can easily be influenced and eventually be addicted to things, I refused to. But not until a friend shared the album containing our “reunion photos.” Since during that time I wasn’t a member yet, I couldn’t open the link. I had no choice but to create an account for myself. Her tactic worked! And the rest is history.

It’s really amazing how technology is able to connect people. Through Facebook I’ve seen friends which I haven’t seen in years. Some of them were my classmates in grade school. And after long years of no communication, we’re chatting again. Some of them even had a small gathering recently. But here’s my most favorite part my mother is also rekindling ties with her old friends. But I hate the part when both parties are sharing stories about us, their children. My mom is green with envy. Haha!

Tuesday Meet and Greet - May Holds a Gun

Household chores were at the least of her expertise.
Extra curricular activities didn’t excite her at all.
Being in a private 3rd class in CAT was a non-issue
But she is definitely a no non-sense
She is like the female counterpart of Herodotus
In the modern-day era
A genius in computer programming
She is now a successful expat
But the road to success was narrow and intricate
She had to do things she was not accustomed to
She had to endure a lonely life
Away from the people she loved so dearly
But instead of giving up
She turned her forlorn life
Into something beautiful
She clinged to her values and strengths
Patience, hardwork and perseverance
Were her armors during tough times
In the end victory smiled at her
She is now soaring high in the US Airforce
A lot of things have already changed
Nonetheless only one thing matter
She is simply my friend
With or without a title
With or without a gun in her hand
Black, brown or blonde hair
She is not May but Mumay
Forever and ever...

My Favorite Christmas Song

As usual dakdak dito; dakdak doon
Ang tatlong magkakagrupo biglang naging pilyo
First stanza'y biglang nabuo

Tantananantanan!!!

Onli in BAM-A (Re-Post)

Ikaw ay legitimate BAM-A kapag…

In The Name of Love.” At mga taong zero pa rin?! Well, there is a saying “Habang may buhay may pag-asa.”

In fairness, maraming pumatol!

Kapag may contribution magrereklamo muna kayo.

Ehem!

Naranasan mo ang magklase ng nakatayo dahil wala kayong classroom o kaya wala kayong upuan at kung may upuan man Fist Come First Serve.

In fact, may nakaperfect pa nga ng exam. Yahoo!!! O kaya kapag may exam at late ka o absent, no need to worry dahil siguradong may grade ka. Minsan nga natataasan pa ang mga katropa. Yan ang magkakaibigan “One for all, All for one.” Hehe!

Magaling ah! Pero wala yan sa lolo ko… In fairness, Close Fight! Yan ang BAM-A, Hindi lang Pangkalokohan, Pangsports pa! ASTIG!

Wow! Best Actor.

Minsan nagplano kayong magswimming. Hala! Big deal?!

Bago pa man natapos ang First Year - First Sem napagisipan mo magshift ng course o kaya lumipat ng ibang school.

PEACE!!!

My Gift, My Only Gift

We couldn’t believe the big day has passed by
Just yesterday Tropatits were just sitting in two rows
Pretending that we're listening to our profs
After class we chat, laugh and search for a hottie
Outside the campus the mission continues.

We were the craziest and naughtiest
But never underestimate us
Because our grades were usually on top
Perhaps that's the effect of the beautiful friendship
Strengthened by the storms we were able to conquer.
.
Years passed so quickly
So different but still the same
Two of our friends just got married
We didn't expect it would be too soon
Nevertheless we all wish them well.

We are very happy for you, Elen and Berna
For picking a great guy
May God bless your marriage
With a bountiful life with your husband
And endless happiness with your children.

Thank you for all the good memories
And as time goes by new ones will form
But the strong bond shall never depart
Because in our hearts we truly value what we had
Best Wishes our dearest friends!

Elen and Rey & Berna and Frederick

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Rekindling Ties

Bakasyon Grande. That’s how we named our first grand reunion after years of not seeing each other. The original plan was a swimming jaunt but because of last-minute confusion stimulated with old beliefs, we ended with Toncy’s treat in Pizza Hut in the evening of May 19, 2007 and continued the festivity in Santiago Street until the next day. It was a night full of stories of the good old days and hottest news noon (hehe!) and a day of kainan, chibugan, chow, Lafang…Yun na!!!

Lol. Haha!!!

(Drum Roll)

Naaalala nyo pa ba noong unang araw ng klase?
Nakacivilian ang lahat ng biglang…
Dalawang babaeng nilalang

Silang dalawa’y magkaibigan
Ngunit magkapatid din.
Hindi man sa laman
Sa puso at sa diwa
Silang dalawa’y tinadhana.
Hugis ng katawan hindi nagkakalayo.
Hairdo nila magkahawig din.
Tuwing nanananghalian
Nakakatatlong kanin lang naman.
Pero ang katawan nila
Parati naming kinaiingitan.

Sa linya ng Astrology,
Gemini at Leo ang zodiac signs nila.
Gusto mo bang malaman
Kung ano ang sinasabi
Ng mga stars nila?

When Gemini and Leo form a friendship, it is a playful and high-spirited connection. There is a lot of movement and optimism in this friendship. Leo has a spirit of creativity that is attractive to Gemini, who enjoys mental stimulation. Arguments may arise if Leo takes Gemini’s flirtatious nature too seriously, or if Gemini feels that Leo wants total control of their friendship. They are well matched, though Leo wants to experience things firsthand, and Gemini would rather examine them from several different angles. Together they can discover and understand more than they would alone.

The best aspect of the Gemini-Leo friendship is their youthful, even childlike view of the world. They can truly understand and value each other’s input to the world. Together they can discover aspects of life that they would have missed separately. Together, this duo will enjoy a successful and mutually beneficial friendship.

May katotohanan man
ang sinasabi ng mga bituin o wala
Ang mahalaga, vibes sila.

Tuwing may lakad nga ang barkada
At hindi sila nakakasama
Tanong ng lahat
Nasan yung dalawa?
May something ba?
Hay naku! parang may kulang
Halata mo rin ba?

Matagal tagal na rin
Nung huli ko silang nakita.
Masaya kami noon.
Pero ngayon balita ko
Parang may something.
Hmmm…
Sana ayos lang sila.
Sana sa susunod na lakad ng tropa
Super Twins pa rin ang dalawa.

Eto nga sila noon oh,

Hayyyssst!!!

Merong chicken curry, inihaw, sisig, isda, garlic at plain rice atbp. Pero in fairness halos naubos naman namin lahat.

Habang kumakain, sympre di mawawala ang kwentuhan. Lahat bumangka. Sa mga di namin nakasama, huwag kayong magalala behave naman kami kc we love you so much (Cha, Shalah, Son at Grace, matouch kayo. Haha!). Hay! Sobrang dami.

Kwentuhan at pichuran uli tayo! :p

A CLOSEr Glimpse in the Known and the Unknown

(Excerpts from my first writing attempt in one summer vacation)

Joy. She is one heck of a talent. Among her many abilities include a sharp memory-when she starts telling her own story it usually begins with “Alam mo kami nung elementary…” But seriously, Joy has a great mind which she uses to excel in any subject she chooses (kaya nga asset yan pagdating sa humanities at drawing). She is also a very good artist who seems to have built in lettering guides, rulers and curves in her hands that allows her to write and draw as if she’s an architecture or engineering student. With very skillful hands, she could draw plates in a flash and then have time for her “papalicious” boyfriend in the end.

Jordg. Besides being the “son” of Dr. Pangilinan and Ma’am Carpio (Why? Sir Pangilinan gave him the authority to handle our class – as if sya ang prof and he’s very close to Ma’am Carpio compare to our very own professors – patext text pa), Jordg, at first glance would give you the impression that he just ran away from home because of his very large back pack, and once you get to dig into it you’ll find big and thick compilation of his favorite songs printed in different colors and supercalifragilisticexpialidocious background. Yes, the books and anything that concerns his studies and work are merely accessories. Hehe?!

Pat. Does she look familiar? No, she’s not the love interest of Jordan in one of the most popular soap opera today “Sa Puso Ko Iingatan Ka” nor Gelai of Junjun in a youth oriented show every Saturday “G-MIK,” she’s simply the girl who has a face of Juday and Angelica Panganiban combined into one. Pat or Bunsoy, is literally deficient in age. She is the youngest at our batch. Nonetheless, Bunsoy made her “shortcomings” the least of her problem. Her out-of-this world attitude drives everyone in the class crazy. She’s a real cool dude and an MTV artist - the scene in the window of Civil Engineering building, PANALO!

Meann. She is sweetness, wackiness, smartness and sensitivity packed in a very big and heavy bundle. She is weak yet so powerful. She’s weak, for she’s very sensitive, but inspite of this, she’s powerful being able to stand all the trials in her life. She’s weak for she cannot limit herself in eating lots of food. On the other hand, she’s also powerful for she bears a mouth that carries an unyielding appetite. So when you’re starving, she’s probably the perfect one to call. You will also never get bored when you’re with her for she unleashes her corny jokes with good timing (yung pamatay talaga tulad ng TUTA).

Yheng. Anyone who knows Bujoy couldn’t help but wonder where she gets her seemingly endless supply of energy. Often times, you’ll find her unstoppable when she begins talking specially when she is in the mood. Punctuality is her second asset. She actually lives in a far, far away land of Antipolo City but when you tell her to be in school at 7am, she’ll be there 10 mins to 4 hrs before the call time. 4 hrs? Yes, your monitor has no problem (Medyo exag but it’s true). Yheng also has a habit of buying food for all of us during our spare time. And because of her extreme generosity no one deserves the title “Financer ng Bayan” except her.

P.S. Hehe!

Sweet Escape to Tayoman

“LANUZA-LEMITA, san kayo pupunta?

amazing meann and her fantastic adventures

by Jordg
.
Back to the main issue.

I'm Your Fan!

Every year we encounter various events (good and bad) that have huge effect on our lives. Last year, was no different.

I lost my job last December. To those who know my work history, it’s no longer surprising. They are immune to hearing the words “Nagresign na ko” (I resigned already) or “Wala na kong work” (I’m jobless). Lately, I’ve been thinking so much about the excruciating experiences I had with my previous company. I am trying to suppress the thought, but the grudges still seem fresh. Maybe because I have always been the kind of person, when confronted by a complex situation or a budding conflict, would rather not expose my vulnerability. There was no clear closure between me and the basis of my resignation. Things just didn’t end well.

I thought my last job prior to my work as a sales secretary was the most depressing already. But as days go by, I’m starting to realize that all exit experience is painful. No pain is actually more superior to the other. Saying goodbye to the faces I’ve learned to love and care for is probably the very reason why leaving is always difficult. Without a choice, I had to pack my things and wave my hands. Along with it, however, are the precious learnings and good memories.

Of course, reflecting is more meaningful if we talk about great blessings. Last year, God granted one of my biggest dreams – to attend the Kerygma Feast every Sunday together with my family. It took me almost one year to persuade them. Just when I was about to give up, God answered my prayer. It was sometime in 2nd quarter of 2008 when they told me they wanted to give it a try. At the back of my mind I was asking myself, “Are they serious?” When we reached Valle Verde Country Club, that’s the only time I became totally convinced. And the rest is history.

In 2008, I also heard one of the most shocking accolades I’ve received in my entire life. “I’m your fan” kuya Rowin said. What was he thinking? Was he out of his mind? I just couldn’t absorb it.

He was asking about my occupation. I answered him truthfully although I really wanted to lie. hehe!. He told me not to give up and just keep on trying. Then, he inquired about my blog. “I became unmindful of it since I'm busy with work,” I replied. He encouraged me to continue what I have started. Next, he told me “Fan mo ko" (I’m your fan).

The conversation occurred in his daughter’s wake. I was supposed to be the one comforting him but it seemed to me that our roles transformed. Whether there was a truth to that or just a joke, kuya Rowin lifted my weakening spirit. It helped me believe in myself when I was going through some emotional battle - when it seemed to me that I was doing no good... :(
**************************************************
Kuya Rowin, did I ever say thank you? In a critical point in your life you cheered me up when you yourself needed more understanding. I was speechless and could not believe. That short statement might not have a powerful effect if it came from someone else mouth. It has actually become a music to my ears. Now, I visit my blog regularly. And as I scrutinize my old posts, I tell myself “Not bad.” Hehe! But seriously, I should be the one telling you “I’m your fan!”
